About Dan &
Magyar Electric, Inc. electrical contracting:
Magyar Electric is
an electrical contracting business for the purpose of providing
homeowners and business owners with high quality electrical
installations. I personally have over 37 years experience starting with
a formal four year electrical apprenticeship through the JATC affiliated
with both the IBEW & NECA. I've attended numerous training classes over the course of my career and through my affiliation with NECA, continuing education to keep abreast of new technology and advances in the electrical field. Lately with the higher summer time electrical bills I get many requests to consult with a client in order to lower their electrical consumption. We first look at their lighting loads, their most frequently energized fixtures, examining those respective fixtures & lamps. Obviously replacing incandescent lamps for "Compact fluorescent lamps" are the first way to obtain savings. We can then implement, if necessary occupancy sensors for turning off lights that occasionally get left on. Then a more comprehensive examination of the remaining electrical load is conducted. (It's surprising to note: that all electrical savings enacted come off the most expensive rates that are paid by that respective client.) To achieve more energy conservation after performing the preliminary methods above, I recommend considering the installation of a photo-voltaic system to impact those loads not easily reduced such as air conditioning. Solar arrays are one of the best ways to invest in your home and become less impacted by increasing electrical rates.
